So i installed the mods over the mod manager a few days ago and all upgrades were showing up in the store but since yesterday its only showing me the portable teleporter and the advanced portable teleporter but not the remaining 10 items is there any reason why that may be i tried reinstalling the mod and disabling all other mods besides the dependancies but its still not showing up

In the Beta there was a message, but that message was causing issues, I think he removed it cause it was weird.
On another note, I know if he adds it to somewhere like the other section, people won't check there cause they generally don't, and usually have already looked at it once and that is it. If you are modding a game, you probably already played through the game at least a tiny bit.
So I've got some plugin stuff I'm trying to work on on my end, it seems that I'm missing some asset bundles for launching the mod when I compile the code on my end. Other git repos for different mods seem to include assets in the package. Is there somewhere to download/generate these files in this repo?
Hey, having some small issues with lategame upgrades.
When we save the game and reload, the upgrades are still there in the terminal as they should be, but the bonus isnt applied. ie lvl 2 lungs and running shoes in the terminal and no increase in speed or stamina.
buying the next level applies 1x upgrade, so lvl 3 shoes in this case are the same speed as standard lvl 1..
is this a known bug?
is there a way to fix it temporarily for my save?

we do have late company and LC better saves installed as well as a few other mods but those were the two that said there could be issues.
I ran into issues similar with LC Better Saves. The just delete the save and reload, that fixed it for me. However, you have to catch it before going out on a run.
It's just the one that you download when you download the mod but I can upload it there too I guess
I think that's a late company issue and an issue with how they handle players joining the lobby. I might be able to build in some terminal command that reapplies upgrades to new clients.

okay still had an issue saving with late company installed. saved, uninstalled, reloaded and things are missing

I have supplied an output log with this module and a few others in case this turns out to be a bug.
oddly, this problem doesn't present itself when attempting to purchase the portable teleportation devices

Is Malware Broadcaster supposed to make turrets explode when deactivated? I swear I was able to disable them with no explosion before.

I play with one of the mods that can spawn the turret in the ship and just bombed everyone by removing it, whoops. We'll probably turn that option off but it was pretty funny.

game master is pretty broken but neither should be conflicting
LC_bettersaves bugs it out, might try disabling it for that

hi there i am also having the same issue with upgrades being active on new files without the "LC better saves " mod one way i fixed it is turn all the upgrades to false then true again but its just a band-aid solution for now but was wondering if anyone had a permanent solution lol
And that's just app data/ local low/ zeekers/ lethal company and just delete the LGU JSON file(s)
If you don't have LC better saves and the save file for upgrades persisted after you died you can exit to the menu, delete that save file slot where you were fired then go back in and it should be fine. I must have moved something around

the prices in the store are seemingly incorrect and change weirdly
bought night vision as a client and it didn't deduct any money
then proceeded to get fired and we retained all the upgrades for a few moons, not sure what finally made it take them away
does the unlocks command to see what upgrades you have active return a "there was no action supplied with the word" if you have no upgrades purchased
There is no unlocks command just type lategame store it will show the upgrade levels and what is and isn't unlocked
Strange question, if anyone is able to help - I'm attempting to add a new upgrade to the mod package. I've got a new script that should upgrade what I want, but I noticed in plugins.cs you load assets for each upgrade from an assetbundle. I couldn't find the prefabs anywhere, so I attempted to pull them from the assetbundle, make an asset for my new upgrade, and then store everything back into a new bundle. I made a script for the LethalCompanyUnityTemplate project that should load the assets into Unity. If I enter a name such as "runningShoes" then the script returns a success, but if I put in something that doesn't exist in the bundle like "12345", the script fails. However, even on success, no assets or prefabs get loaded into the project. Is there a better way to create a new upgrade and update the assetbundle so it works in game?

You could do a Git clone, and just change the key over within PluginConfig.cs within Visual Studio and then build the .dll

Yeah that's the template I've been using, I've got a script that I added to it to try and extract the .prefabs/.assets from the AssetBundle, but it doesn't seem to extract anything from the file. Do you have a script you use to extract it, or do you just have the prefabs/assets locally and rebuild the bundle?

yeah the asset bundle is a file I'm building from simple prefabs. There's a third party plugin thing but I just do this.

there could probably be a config option to enable or disable the tier system
hope to see that in the future. its a pain to always remind players trying out my group's config settings saying stuff like "please dont buy a level upgrade, i set it to 0 cause 1st level is good enough"
there will also be a time where most items will be able to be purchased individually, which would also let you be able to buy only say, the initial upgrade, and your friend could buy up to max tier if they wanted
but right now thats future stuff as kieth wants to add a little more content at the moment =]

idk about you guys but i dont usually need discombob on eclipsed unless there's a giant, worms you just run and dogs you do the opposite
we only use discombob as a an emergency most times
but traditionally we end up with 2 giants usually on the t3 eclipses

That's just because you have LC_API installed, it's not a serious error it has no effect on anything.

So I added custom netcode for credit syncing so it should be compatible with morecompany and bigger lobby. Those mods don't work on lan so I haven't been able to test it though.
I also added a command called reset lgu that manually wipes your save file in case that fails.
I added load lgu too that goes over all the spawned upgrades and applies their effects. This should make latecompany and the fresh player objects more compatible.
I also put an issue on the lc better saves repo about the lgu save files and suggested a fix and said I can do the pr if he doesn't want to so it should be good soon.

Yeah I guess the store does say something about using the buy keyword so I should put it in. I could continue to use the keyword system but they're so territorial. It's really easy to accidentally make it so one keyword will always take priority over another even if you fully spell out the other

-Life Support Systems: boosts max HP
-Hydraulic Suit: boosts melee damage by 20%
-Snap Hook: Adds an inventory slot (2 Slots max, to provide an alternative to Reserved slots for Walkie Talkies and Flashlights)
-Eelskin: Allows you to survive a Bracken attack, once per mission
-Volt Leech: Allows you to recharge tools at Apparatices (Should remain connected to their respective reactor rooms for balance)
-Reactive Armor: Causes a Flashbang detonation upon taking damage, once per mission
-Lifeline: Catapults you back up should you trip and fall into a chasm
-Iron Grip: Allows carrying of two heavy items at the same time
-Mission Briefing: Informs you of present monsters at the start of the mission
-Tractor Beam: Teleports scrap outside of the factory into the ship, further upgrades reduces cooldown
-Hive Mind: Informs other players of your death (further upgrade shows the cause)
-Breadcrumbs: Shows the next exit out of the factory closest to the player when activated
-Kiteskin: Reduces Falling damage (Alternatively: allows gliding)
-Flight Syndrome: Restore stamina upon reaching critical health
Volt leech is interesting
i believe max HP boost, damage boost, inventory increase and survive some monster attacks have all been suggested also carrying multiple two-handed has also been suggested
i like the idea of volt leech though
One I keep forgetting about but would like to do is a defibrillator. Expensive and breaks on use but can be used to revive a dead teammate

Revival is actually part of the game so I think it will be easy to set up. It should just require some patching to make sure they revive in place.
Most multiplayer games players and a lot of items in general aren't spawned and destroyed and are instead just hidden and re enabled and whatnot
Pooling objects is always good but in multiplayer games especially pooling becomes a lot more attractive

best case scenario at this point is finding which mod is doing it and then figuring out WHY it does that
Hey, I installed the Late-game Upgrades, and there was an asset bundle error. I checked the folder, and the old version wasn't installed (detail: this issue started out of nowhere when I switched from manually downloading mods to using r2modman). The error was resolved when I created another profile and reinstalled r2modman. When I open the game, only the Portable Teleporters appear. Late-game Upgrades prefers BepInEx 5.4.22, so I installed it via GitHub, and the error disappeared, but only the Teleporters still show up in the shop.
How can i fix it? My friends have the same issue since the last update (Note: the previous version 1.3.1 worked perfectly, but the error still appeared in the cmd.)
my friends and I are still experiencing the bug where we all have a separate credit pool when buying upgrades using this mod. Although now it seems to only do that when we're at the company. It doesn't happen every time, but about half of the time it does.
Additionally, when using biggerlobby and this mod, player upgrades sometimes just fail to load when generating a random seed and it requires the host to leave and rejoin the lobby for the upgrades to work again. But usually doesn't happen again for that save.
assetbundle error just happens sometimes, shouldnt be a big deal since youre seeing the items, further on the mod page you should have seen there are commands for a separate sotre interface, 'lgu' or 'lategame store'
does using load lgu fix anything?

Since v1.0.3 the Minimap mod allowed users to show/hide specific icons from the map, such as the enemies (red dots), in order to make it "less OP" ๐

Honestly the didn't provide much info they just came in here and said I found these mods don't work together so I threw them in. I should really personally test it. It surprised me to see the bodycam and minimap mod were incompatible. I haven't seen the code for either but I can't imagine they step on eachothers toes.

Lgu or lategame store is the new interface for the store, in order to reduce clutter
this was an intentional change, so nothin is broken for you
at least, as long as the upgrades can still be purchased and all of that, but the functionality is to put it in a different location so the main terminal store wasnt so filled
only thing keeping my group from playing is keeping upgrades after dying and everyone getting the upgrade. Really turns everyone into a one man army (great asset)

a big thing we want to encourage is creating 'classes' in your crew
so the monitor guy will often buy things like the malware, the discombob, the pager
then youll have your loot guy who will have things like back muscles, lungs

balancing our money between hard moons, items and upgrades will be tough, but them letting us survive longer helps that
as long as they save and are individual we'll start using it, even if we dont lose it when dying

My friends do not see the same prices and have some features still buyable in the lategame store that I disable in my config as host
basically, they operate on the default config, while I am on my own edited config
maybe it follows ur friend's configs rather than ur own as the hosts
try sharing them ur profile code if your using the manager and see if it fixes then
had a similar issue with my friend. it fixed when i shared him my code
was kind surprised when we instantly got NVG when we just started a run cause my friend set the price to just 1 when he was testing the upgrades

Not sure if this caused by latecompany, but you know how there's red text when purchasing an upgrade right? Well when a player joins midway a session, it seems to type those same red words but this time inivisible, constantly pushing my chat further and further upwards until i cant even see who joined or disconnected
My nightvision bar also just up and gone into narnia after a while. Not sure if its related to this or it might be caused by another mod i have

Not seeing any issues accessing the upgrades, but I haven't tried actually using any yet
this mod targets pretty core aspects of the game, it should be pretty safe to updates.
whenever an update comes out i will be testing it and ill verify if it works or not in the pins message at the top
lethallib was updated and that fixed the terminal from being broken, in that aspect the mod still works, I havent tested any in game items yet

Now that upgrades are individual we need to refactor the prices so if anyone has suggestions of how things should be priced I'm all ears
Also I've been putting it off but we need to make a json file of all the info strings and make them more meaninful / have them detail what the upgrade will be like on each level. This will be especially important when upgraded upgrades become more complex.
i do kinda like how the prices are now for the most part, cause that does encourage what we were talking about in the sense of class specialization
i do wonder if we can set it based on what the current quota is to be a percentage of that in cost...
for instance, still making it equally expensive for lower tiers than it is higher
because if you make it too low, then everyone is back to buying everything, and too high is not enough people buying their own items
plus, worst case we do have the config options for people to balance prices themselves
Yeah if you're not losing them on death these prices seem fine. Night vision should come down from 700 though

as we add more to the potential loss on death (ideally ill go and make it all configurable) we can have it so its either the cheaper price for on death loss, or a little more for not losing it
Yeah I just added a method to the nightVisionScript called DisableOnClient that when you die if the cfg is true calls that. If we add an overrideable to BaseUpgrade then have each upgrade override it with their own disabling code tied to their cfg entry for it we can just foreach(BaseUpgrade in ...) BaseUpgrade.AttemptDisable() in the KillPlayer patch.

Since signal translator is a thing in vanilla store and is like a more limited pager, I think pager should be a one time upgrade to remove the character limit on the signal translator so you can type as much as you want into it, price pager at something like 200 creds so it adds up to 455 in total, maybe also change the name to signal booster or something. Just an idea

not sure if recommended yet, but would be interesting to see some sort of "shotgun ammo pack" purchasable that contains 8 or so bullets to reload the new shotgun added from V45. Would be neat to see like a tiny box with 8 shells in and each shell disappears from model in hand everytime you reload.
Yeah I've been kicking around some ideas. I need to get an offensive upgrade going. Something that increases damage dealt so seeing this is nice cause it opens the door for a few things. I think purchasable ammo I might leave up to another mod but having an upgrade tweak dtuff like increase the range it operates at, damage it deals, what enemies it can kill, and chance to not consume ammo has popped into my mind.
I'm not familiar with the shotgun yet but leaving the dynamic of acquiring it and ammo through the enemy sounds ideal to me. Changing the circumstances sounds fun though.

those 100 points are separate from the 200 you just sold

if for every 200 we give 100 it would give everyone in the higher margins like 1k a piece and then we again got too many credits than we know what to do with

yeah my main worry about having our own token system is this, this mod started off the idea of 'hey after the third quota I feel like I have nothing to spend my credits on' so I don't want to move around from that. Completely seperating players credits would be a pretty easy implementation and config option. wouldn't hurt to provide the option.

Ah you'll have to both be on the same version of the mod and both make the same changes to the config. You can just send them your config file and they can replace theirs with your updated one.

Using Night Vision Goggles makes you invincible to EVERYTHING
we just updated the mod and the wearer can't die. We tried jumping off the edge, wearing the new mask, shovel, fall damage, leaving behind, etc
i get those errors every time for all sorts of mods, highly likely it is just them failing to load at once, then they load pretty much always successfully after a reattempt (this is conjecture, need confirmation)
(And to be clear you can't take them off, even when rejoining)

Ok so after some pretty extensive testing, it appears that even if you've got the individual purchases disabled in the new config, you need the Host to buy the upgrades, or they'll never show up for anyone other than the person buying
Pretty scuffed since the whole system worked fine before
I think there is a bug with this mod, everytime i save and quit the game and play the same save file few hours later, all my upgrade are lost

It's working for me. Are you sure everyone's config was synced. If anyone has the upgrade set to individual and they're the one who purchases it it won't fire the rpc to unlock it on other clients. If anyone has it set to shared and they're the one who purchases it, it will send the rpc.

be mindful that lc better saves is incompatible. I made a pull request on his repo and am waiting on him to put it on thunderstore. So if you aren't able to load saves sometimes that's why.
The reason night vision isn't working is because right above my mod there's 'zilli-NightVision-1.0.0'
I assume that has a script running that when that night vision isn't active, turns off the night vision light.
Any night vision mod is going to target the built in night vision object and alter it

you can hit the windows key + r, a little dialogue box will pop up, enter %appdata% then hit ok. it should take you to roaming but go a folder back then open locallow and follow the path. If it's too much trouble don't worry about it.

idk if i should post this here or in bug report but im having a problem with night vision where the green nightvision mode pops up for a fraction of a second then disapears, has anyone else had this problem? Ive just been disableing it in testing because i dont want my friends to get discouraged to modding they are already iffy on it and this would definitly turn them off about it
if you have game master mod or a seperate night vision mod disable them.

that way people have the option like in the config if they want that or not and i think it would be a cool upgrade like base cost 1000 each upgrad 500 more

Yeah if it's from the get go where my mod is basically sleeping I'm not sure how much it has to do with LGU and is likely an incompatibility at worst.
If you remove LGU is it fixed? Then it's an incompatibility. If it's not fixed it's a different mod.

some of the things you could just use unity explorer for
like you can change jump force movement speed sprint time in unity explorer
you could also change some values of upgrades through there if you just search the upgrades name. Like night vision regen and drain should be accessible through the nv headset batteries object

ah I sent the dev a message, for the time being you could play with the previous update of moreEmotes.
The mod is assigning the players movement speed every single frame so there's not much I can do, I guess I could postfix update or lateupdate and assign it to my mods value but that seems ugly. I took a look at the code for that mod and am thinking up the best way to make it compatible.
I'd love to do that, but knowing those who play with my modpack that is obtained through code in R2modman, they will update it automatically.
I'm still reviewing how to make a normal Modpack and upload it to thunderstore to roll back versions in case a new version is bugged.

they should be at the bottom of the main store, we didnt add any rotations yet i believe
if you type 'store' theyd be at the bottom, and then 'lgu' allows you to increase the tier of it

hi is there a way to make host's config sync with everyone else in the lobby for EX: host has back muscles with no tier upgrades but when he purchased it the no tiered only applied to himself and not us (those who didnt edit the config)
No you'll have to send it to your friends. I think I could set something up that does this but since so many config updates are applied during the patches clients would have to connect to the host to get the hosts config, then fully restart their game and rejoin to have the new config applied.
I think I'd you use r2modman and share a code it might sync the config too too idk

The dream update for this mod is that host config takes precedent over others. I know some mods have this, but they're simpler ones. I wouldn't know a thing about it being truly possible with Lategame Upgrades.
But as Kieth surmised, yes. You need to change your config FIRST before you share the code to people. The code will give them the profile with that same edited config.
