Hi, me being late as ever due to personal stuff.

The first warframe was made out of people (they’re called the umbra projects) you can think of them like a “mold” for the other warframe. Before needing to remove the middle man (criminals. Actual criminals or not, the orokins were fucked)

Then a ship went through a black hole! Driving adults mad and giving kids magic space power. (There’s some paradox stuff but you don’t need to worry)

The kids could control the proto warframes (umbra’s) so the orokins thought it would be a better idea to have kids control lifeless husk. Now named primes. Then later along the line other faction tried to make some to use it for their own gains without making them work. The closest one that was able to make them work was Aladd V

It is from the last of a group of scavengers though, and was the last recorded moments of that person’s life

However it should be noted this current version in cannon assumes that the company records dialogue from the employees, which I’d assume is then stored somewhere in the helmet, and The reason the file is corrupted is due to this being damaged…||

A neat concept could be that like…the logs were written 500 years ago, and discussed rapid evolution then, yet they’re seemingly the same now. It could be neat to explore concepts of like “this log is actually for a now extinct entity”, “this is about an ancestor of this entity”, “a branch of this entities species continued to evolve into something stronger, and it exists somewhere (in game or just lore)” etc
