Similarly for equippable containers for medical items.
The balancing element would of course be the weight.

It's worth considering:
Should a firearm that uses loose ammunition automatically draw ammunition from inside the container, or ammunition to be reloadable should be in the rig/belt/pocket.

I love the idea.

I think it should work the same as having loose ammo anywhere on your rig, but just that would allow stowing more. I think it should also not contain too many slots, like being a 1x2 or 1x3 slots inside
