Lost Gear to a Crash

Hi just lost my gear to a Crash, I was also on a Helicopter too
I reported the crash and restarted the game as normal, but i got stuck loading the game at 84%, it was like that for about 3 miniutes.
I then Closed the game through steam and restarted and all my Equipment was gone.
Is anyone able to help?
