These sound good, especially the wandering AI and the interfaction AI mechanics

But Im unsure about the helicopter awareness

Most LZ's are in the middle of a field so if the AI were to investigate and fire upon you then your stuck in an open field with no cover and most likely will die

nah im all for it, by the time you touch down and disembark you should immediately run for concealed or covered locations
