I don't know if anyone from EA will actually see this or I'm just talking to myself but here goes.
I've been playing this series on PC since FIFA 13. I've pre-ordered every single one since so that I could play on launch day, until FC 26. That was the first version that I didn't pre-order. I waited till it got discounted by 70% then bought it.
EA has lost me. It always feels like the game is taking one step forward and two steps back. Better ball physics, worse UI. Improved career mode, worse performance. The Frostbite engine is so powerful and yet we still don't have dynamic weather, realistic cloth physics, or the latest upscaling and frame gen tech.
But what bugs me more than anything is EAs refusal to bring their anti-cheat to Linux. So the game doesn't run or SteamOS/Steam Deck. Probably for the best at this stage given how unoptimized the game is, with horrendous performance and choppy cutscenes even on today's most powerful handhelds.
EA, please get your act together. You said with FC 26 that you're listening to community feedback. Are you?
