The pc version of fc 26 is currently unplayable. Full of lags and frames drop also massive input delay since the last patch

All of the versions of this game are absolutely unplayable and all the content creators and community know it. The game is overtaken by AI and the people in charge lost control. Its a game full of programming which only intention is to make people ENGAGED and ADDICTED, it downright takes people (who dont have self control) into madness. You should listen to the community and do some research to know.. THE GAME IS UNPLAYABLE @eager kite

I already paid my respect by purchasing it and then I pay my respect by turning my PS5 on and dedicating time to it, @desert ruin are the ones who mock and disrespect our faces with DDA, AI, playstyles and a gameplay thats fully annoying to play. They value engagement over fun, and its obvious now. Its over bro, unless they use AI correctly and go back to SKILL based matches where its not crazy 5-4, 6-5 matches that make no sense because AI is nerfing you and the opponent based on the perceived level of engagement it think the game has @eager kite

FYI I dont feel anger, and I am leaving TRUE feedback based on 20 daily posts you see on this community. im engaging with you because you have the FC badge so 1. you should provide more professional commentary if you work for FC and 2, you cant be so biased to think the game is good when your whole community is telling you the game is gone @eager kite

I give honest and mature opinion. There is a minor part of FC community coming here and say pc version does not work. The point for me is only on performance as on the majority of decent PCs this is just ok. Illuding those people that there will be a fix is not my goal. My goal is explain that they need to work on performance on their PCs and that any comparison to other high end game is meaningless since this game is manly CPU driven and not GPU driven like 99% of other high end games

I switched to AMD since fifa 2023 as it performs better with this game (same as console), rx6600 and Ryzen 7

Glad it’s working for you, Paolo, but 'it works for me' doesn't fix the optimization disaster on PC right now. Since the last patch, the game is suffering from massive input delay and frame drops that make competitive play impossible, even on high-end Ryzen builds.It’s not just about 'having fun'—it’s about the fact that the core mechanics are currently broken for a huge chunk of the community. When you combine the technical lag with AI that constantly overrides manual skill (DDA/PlayStyles+), the game stops being a football sim and starts feeling like a scripted experience. If you’re not feeling the nerfed physics or the 2-second delay, you’re in the lucky minority, but the rest of us are playing a completely different (and broken) game.

@normal fractal the problem with this game are the minimum specs, those are not enough to play good. You need to be at the recommended spec to play medium and better if higher. Laptop don't play well as there's shared vram. Most important is that you need to have very low latency and that can be measured with DPI latency tool. Any process and any driver can influence that negatively. I have spent a year to move from.Nvidia to Radeon + Ryzen by getting cpu and gpu dimensioning identical to ps5.

Borderless mode works better than full screen because you can keep in-game vsync off and use win11 vsync which is faster.

So in the end...I just replicated the ps5 setup and settings. EA should make this as default config and remove all other options, most of all the higher fps that just heat cpu and make it throttle after a while, at second half or after few games

Half rate cutscene is also needed to avoid cpu overheating during the cutscenes.
