At the start of FC26 you EA released such a good product, honestly the game was fast responsive and far more enjoyable to play. Over the year you have done patch after patch after patch with the game getting worse patch after patch after patch. I'm writing this as an FC/Fifa player with well over 25 years of experience playing these titles, my first being fifa 99. This year you implemented the competetive and authentic gameplay. Is it difficult to segregate the 2 gameplay types ? Because it's needed. There was a patch this year where the AI was improved so much that even the easiest of passes were getting intercepted. This also transferred over to the competitive gameplay with online matches becoming so AI heavy focused.
Therefore I propose segregating authentic gameplay with its own coding, where AI can make more realistic challenges at the ball. But competitive needs less AI input. Competitive needs to be that. Competitive. Where players make the decisions to press with a player or not. At the start of the game, all you needed to do was improve defensive jockey speed so that a player can manually mirror an attacker. Then the game becomes skillfull because people have to predict their opponents moves. Attacking is more fun because everyone will make human defensive errors. AI in competitive should only be used to position players. And that is all.
Another thing was making incisive passing, and inventive and tiki taka worse. You are taking away the creativity factor. Passing is the essence of football, therefore a player who makes good passes should be rewarded for their decisions to play good passes, passing should always be what separates players skill wise. What you have created on this game is a counter attacking simulator. Where the ones who gets the ball forward fastest usually ends up scoring, whilst counter attacking exists in football it should not be the main way to play the game. Bring back incisive and the other passing PS.
