I don’t know if anyone at ea actually reads these but I love this franchise I hate where it’s at right now and I don’t want to see it die.
I think right now there’s a disconnect between what your users want and the output of content.
First of all, given the premise of listening to the community this year, I think you really should just nerf bruiser, even if it goes against a change you made earlier in the year. Would go a long way to try to get people to play again.
Secondly, the rise of efootball shows what’s currently in demand in terms of football: nostalgia. You have an aging customer base but you have far more licensing to do things like they do in efootball. You already do flashback sbc and moments but do more! And changing players hair and slight body type changes to go with different eras is incredibly cool.
Overwhelming consensus is that tots is underwhelming but you could see it coming. Trophy titans had more hype and it was kind of seen as a stop gap promo. You guys are clearly putting a lot of development into the game to do the open world stuff. Look at what your competitors are doing right!!
