I’ll try to explain this as clearly as possible because the issue is a bit complex.
I’m experiencing a very strange input lag in EAFC 26. And when I say input lag, I don’t just mean delayed commands — it feels like my entire game is behind. There are moments where the ball has already gone out for a throw-in or corner, my teammates are already calling it out on voice chat, and it only happens on my screen 1–2 seconds later. It honestly feels like I’m playing on cloud gaming.
The weird part is that this only happens in Clubs mode, specifically 11v11.
There’s also a very clear pattern: every time my team scores or concedes, when the ball resets to midfield, I immediately come back with this heavy delay.
On top of that, there’s another issue: whenever I score a goal, I completely lose control of my player. He starts running on his own toward the opponent’s goal, goes inside the net, and just keeps bumping into it like I have no control at all.
This is extremely frustrating, especially the input lag since it affects the whole match. For example, during kickoff, my teammate passes me the ball — it takes about 1 second for me to even realize I have possession, and another 1–2 seconds for my pass input to actually register in-game.
I’ll attach a couple of clips showing the issue with the player running into the goal.
If anyone has experienced this or knows a fix, I’d really appreciate the help. I’ve had this problem since the game launched.
I’ve already tried multiple fixes like fullscreen vs borderless, V-Sync on/off, FPS limits, Hypermotion settings, and other tweaks, but nothing has worked so far.
