Probably message will be never read, because I’m not a gamechanger or popular streamer.
But, I want to left my comment here to remember that my passion was destroyed by the company I admired for years. I’m 36 years old, I grew up following FIFA series by EA, I buy consoles just for this game, I collected the physical games (for years) because was my passion, nowadays I wait as christmas the FC launching every September (of course I pre order the Ultimate Version every year).
The last year I played the game until March, tired and without the desire to turn on the console until the next FC launch (Sept 2025). I hoped FC26 where different, FC26 arrived and started very well, slowing the curve, great and enjoyable gameplay… was a great impression.
Months passed and FC26 was turning slowly into FC25, things began to change rapidly overnight, accelerating the curve, launching overpowered players every single Friday, changing the gameplay every single update, and this mechanic ended up exhausting me before March 26.
I understand that this a business for the company, and as protector of the free market rules and the companies development I can understand that Electronic Arts follow the way to generate more income and this is good because I think the understood where is the money and how the new generations spend money. But, what about the old fans, the people that made you big? Why the company doesn’t offer an enjoyable game for that people that enjoy the “old hardcore mode”? Why not consider developing within Ultimate Team a “hardcore mode” with slower or flat curve and offer to the “pros” a real and hardcore team building?.
I don’t know if was understood my idea. Something like “New FUT” and “Hardcore mode”, if you have squad battles (a dead mode) you can think about the people that want to enjoy a real building and offer a real full-season enjoyable mode.
I just want a way to continue to enjoy the game (the full season), I want LESS: SBC, Promos, gameplay updates.
