Agree. I noticed it's been buffed already in 1.5.2 as defenders cover the central spaces much better

Next step is to buff manual defending and jockey which will come on April 7th update

Nobody wants ai defending to be up. If a player is better than you they should score a thousand goals if you can’t defend. The only reason for high scoring is broken mechanics and keepers being terrible. Out of 10 goals, 9 of them probable come after a first time through ball into a finesse shot. The problem is the mechanic, not the amount of goals. Also, the games are longer now

it depends. If you have a defender stuck in the middle of the area and don't move at all when the attacker comes it's a bug. And what I'm saying is that they have fixed it in 1.5.2. just try that

Of course a bit of ai defending needs to be there like there was in any other fifa, but before they wasn’t tackling for you, blocking for you with this ferocity or tracking runs perfectly!
