Listen. Iāll be the first to say itāIām not the greatest player. But thatās because I work 80+ hours a week. I know a lot of people are in the same boat. When I get downtime, I just want to hop on, play something quick, and enjoy it. And when I do have time, Iāll grind.
But this game is missing something hugeā¦
REWARDING.
This game is NOT rewardingāwhether youāre casual or grinding hard. Hereās why:

As a casual, Iām not dropping thousands on FUT points. Iāve spent a few hundred, sure. Packing something good feels niceābut thatās basically the ONLY way to feel rewarded. Which leads toā¦

The power curve is ridiculous. You grind coins or spend money to improve your team, and by Friday itās outdated. So now you need more packs. But how am I supposed to keep up when Iām a Div 6 player playing Champs-level opponents?

Objectives gatekeep rewards. I donāt mind grindingābut I do mind being matched against players 5ā10 levels above me just to win 5 games for a basic pack. Thatās not casual. Thatās punishment.
How to fix it:

Reward player time. Add modes with weekly challengesālike using specific players or recreating moments. Reward coins and tradable packs. Let people grind for value, not just gamble for it. Add Moments with TOTW scenariosācomplete them, earn a player pick. Tradable. Let grinders earn, and buyers buy. Also add long-term collectionsābuild squads over time for legend rewards. Give people something meaningful to work toward.

Slow down content. Weekly promos kill the game. Cards become useless instantly. Make promos matterāmonthly drops, bigger events.

Fix matchmaking. Base it on Rivals rank in live modes. No one should be getting farmed by players way above their level for basic rewards.
At the end of the day, if you reward time, people will stay. More players = more engagement = more money long term.
Right now? This aināt it. EA FC⦠do better.
