It’s a shame to see EVERYONE doing non-stop player locks — why not limit the use of player locks for the whole match? It’s annoying as hell and not fun at all to play this game with the kind of defender AI that’s currently going on. At some point it’s just not fun at all.
Next thing are the players themselves — why are you always holding the ball on your own side and waiting? PLAY THE GAME, PLAY LIKE YOU SHOULD. Why do you need to be annoying and rat about it?
Now the biggest BS this year are the beyblades players are doing — nerf this. Let them do 1–2 max, and after that you get slowed down and lose the ball, not 10 in a row with no negative aspect after. It’s just a shame and unbelievable at this point. I’m not sure if EA employees play this game at all besides testing, but if they did, all of these things would already be fixed, nerfed, and more. Do something about it.
And no, I don’t have skill issues — I’m a normal player. I don’t use the Wilson SBC card, R9 Swaps tokens, or Van de Ven in my team. I’m currently Div 1 and on my way to Elite soon. But the hate I get from time to time is unbelievable — that these kinds of players think they are “good” or anything like that makes everything even worse.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Player lock should just be removed

As a mech there's skill, but the passing (one of the skill people should master) is made by AI. Why player lock is used? Mostly to confuse opponents and to compensate for bad quality movements from AI teammates.
It should be removed.

i dont have much against player lock but the amount of times people use it is just shi yk its crazy someone using player lock from a 1 meter distance where none of my players is its just about the prinziple of beeing able to use such a mechanic so often

Player lock is there because attacking AI is brainded. So you literally have to manually player lock and move your player where you want them to be.

After recent gameplay patch I was forced to player lock because ea did something with attacking AI which they didn't mention. Before I used it rarely.

That’s a shame. The game mechanics are broken: it is not possible to always play against opponents who lock a player and pinged pass to it from the other side of the pitch

Asking for player lock to be removed, you don't deserve to be in Div 1. Play some other game.

If you need it to have fun then you'd really like player career mode. You can just control one player for the entire match and the AI does the rest.

Better play fifa cards. That needs no skill. You are the amateurs that got keeper movement removed. Play division 6-7 where no one uses player locks. Stay with players of your skill level.

Because the attacking AI wasn’t stupid and the defending AI wasnt overpowered, there is no incentive to manually defend beyond running back with a CM or cutting passing lanes with one

Playerlocks are not OP, they are literally a compensator to the stupid attacking AI compared to the broken defensive AI we have right now, they shouldn't remove playerlocks before sorting how their braindead AI works.
It's literally the least of the game's problems right now.

M8, I know how to win but it's not an enjoyable experience, I get 13-15 wins in WL and I have 960 SR in the Elite Division, Gameplay is mainly awful because of how defending works, EA won't touch playerlocks because they don't know how to fix their AI crap, that's why it was added in the 1st place.
still if you think AI defending is something that can be "dealt with" and not playerlocks then idk what to say 🤡 😂

Ai defending is literally shi pass 1-2 times and just shoot if you got precision shooting that idk what the issue is player lock is the most annoying thing ever someone going up and down with his winger until i cant keep up and than passes to himself yeah wow really cool… and enojoyable gameplay idc what your SR is or how many wins you get if you tell me that AI defending is to hard for you than it just proofs that without any annoying mechanic, movements and players you wouldnt even be there in elite div and whatever wins you get always in WL
