The difficulty option needs to be scrapped entirely. Its clear and obvious to anyone who play more than 10 SB matches that the difficulty changes during the game. Today I grind out my remaining 14GAMES of SB. Every team that doesnt have insane promo cards, I play on World Class. I get the win mostly, but im not having fun. The AI usually score atleast 1 goal no matter what, even if they do nothing for 70minutes in game, and are down 7-0, some insane combo attack puts a attacker 1v1 the keeper and always score, or a set piece. I get sick and tired of chasing the ball against a AI thats no fun, so I droop the difficulty to Professional against the stacked promo card teams. Out of my games today I only lost 3. Those were all the professional ones, and I didnt lose easy. No matter how much I tryhard, they score no matter what. My defenders and midfielders are litteraly standing still ball-watching. I cannot player-switch at all to a player near the ball, and by the time I get to a player near, he is ahead and there is no chance to catch back up. My players by default never stand near the opponent, they just cover empty space. So cannot switch to a closer player to try intercept, its impossible. So I have controll of ONE player, and they have 11 un-marked players to constantly pass it to, that makes it so the only place I can regain possession is deep in my BOX. So I try attack with the ball, my players make no moment, the AI is man-marking all my players, so as soon as I pass, that player is flooded by 2-5players, and these players make 0 error tackles. This is not fun. This needs to change. Its not like Squad Battles has insane rewards, your just making it insufferable to play. I can barely play 3games a day anymore, often I can go without playing for a week, only logging on to check new objectives and log off.
Adjust the AI, its no fun playing a counter-attack simulator. The AI makes no errors. My AI is awful and has no football IQ.
