This game is honestly the worst it’s ever been. Gameplay is so terrible. Nerfing playstyles has only made it obvious how terrible the gameplay actually is. These issues are so obvious at this point. Yet, EA is refusing to actually fix them. There’s so much wrong. There’s literally no positive experience in this game whatsoever. The game can’t even function on a basic level even at the menus the game freezes. It is so obvious how much EA has become incompetent and ignorant to ignore to fixing all of these issues. This game is so unplayable it’s unbelievable. There is one clear focus and that is micro transactions otherwise the gameplay itself would be good and it is the furthest thing from that.

The developers failed to fix the actual problems and only try to deflect from the real issues. This game doesn’t play like a soccer game anymore. It only plays like is a simulation focused on taking as much money as possible from you.

Playstyles are overpowered, attributes mean nothing, defending doesn't work unless you have playstyles and utilize brusier, tactics are garbage, attacking AI is stagnant unless you spam l1 passes, AI defenders do everything for you if they're set up properly... The list goes on...

Through passes are not the meta. The real meta is the speed of players making runs, because sometimes the defense opens up way too much and lets attackers run free, but other times it leaves absolutely no space at all. There’s no balance.

But honestly, through passes are terrible. They go anywhere, just like my strikers’ runs, constantly colliding with defenders or ending up offside in 0.0001 seconds when you try to play the pass. In real football, through balls are completely normal. In EA they are absurdly difficult to pull off because of all the obstacles the game puts in the way.
