In my opinion, the only real way to make FC 27 a complete and satisfying game is to clearly separate the two gameplay styles. I actually think this idea has strong potential.
However, it doesn’t make sense to keep authentic gameplay limited to offline modes when the vast majority of players spend their time online. If EA truly wants to improve the overall experience, both gameplay options should be available in online modes, allowing players to choose the style that suits them best.
A more realistic and slower gameplay might not appeal to everyone at first, and some might even find it less exciting. But it would significantly reduce the toxic mechanics and repetitive “meta” abuse that currently dominate competitive play. It would reward tactical thinking, positioning, and football IQ rather than glitch exploitation.
Giving players the freedom to choose between an arcade-style experience and a more authentic football simulation would be a major step forward. It would respect different playstyles instead of forcing everyone into the same competitive mold.
If authentic gameplay remains unavailable in online modes, it will be difficult for me to stay invested in FC 27. I genuinely want the game to succeed, but meaningful change is necessary.
