I understand that the intention with introducing this mechanic was to give users the freedom as to how they want to approach defending, specifically tackling creating, a variety of option for the user in various situations; however that’s not how the mechanic is being used at the moment. Players are simply solely relying on mashing their AD button without considering the situation or needing to time their action.
There no repercussions (time outs) for repeatedly spamming the mechanic, which often leads to tackles, moreover users don’t even need to be in front of their opponent to win the ball, they can (like a like to call it) drive by tackle, simply run past the ball carrier (while spamming the button) and miraculously win the ball. Not to be mentioned the constant NFL like tackles with NO FOULS! And the ever present tackles from behind. Please create a time out for the mechanic feature it’s NEEDED.
