Starting from EAFC 24, EA has been slowly killing this game off and this year they’ve succeeded at their nefarious puporse.

This game used to be our pride, an emotion and a feeling which gave us joy and Ultimate Team was the peak of footballing experience in simulation. We used to buy the game just because only this game had this mode.

But not only have they ruined the overall experience of the mode but it has now become that unbearable chore that no one wants to do but has to do anyway to get their money’s worth for buying the game.

With each update of the game this year the experience has got worse and they’ve finally been successful in killing it off entirely with this latest one.

Instead of worrying about the silver lining on your pockets had you actually cared about your players and their experience, this would not have happened. Thank you for ruining my childhood, peace.

Honestly bro, I'm right there with you. Been saying for a few years now that EA wants us "old heads" out the way. This new generation knows the game as it is in its current state. We saw what it was and what it could have been.

I remember playing back on the older FIFA's thinking "wow, this game has so much potential and the possibilities are endless". Never would I have imagined the game becomes what it has.

People will act like that's a crazy statement too and say it was obvious this game was heading down this path. But back 15+ years ago it really wasn't. It felt like, as you said, they actually gave a damn.
