EA FC 26 needs major improvements to Player and Manager Career Mode realism. There should be an option to upload a real photo for AI-assisted face creation. Player Career progression is far too easy, breaking into the first team should be fully manager-driven based on training performance, match ratings, squad depth, tactical fit, and form, with realistic bench time, reserve matches, and loans before earning starts. Transfers should reflect real-world logic around form, age, reputation, wages, and club ambition rather than being guaranteed or linear. The jersey number system should be dynamic: when joining a club, players should either be assigned a number or choose from available options instead of keeping the same number their entire career. The loan system should be much deeper, with realistic loan offers, performance-based clauses, recalls, and development impact. Overall, contracts, manager relationships, fatigue, injuries, and media interactions should meaningfully affect selection, transfers, and career trajectory to make Career Mode feel authentic, challenging, and immersive.
