#Cannot connect to Ultimate Team

The same thing happened to me. I was playing normally, then it started lagging. I closed the game to see if it would stop, but since then I haven't been able to get into Ultimate Team. Can anyone help?
Looked it up on Ea forums and found that deleting all squads you have on the web app until one empty squad is left, which you set as your active squad should work.
Just tried that and it did let me log in to ultimate team again
