This may be the worse game mode in FC history:
- The matches are the same length as online modes (6 minutes per half) vs offline modes (4 minutes per half)
- The difficulty is way harder than advertised. As someone that occasionally plays squad battles, I found this mode unnecessarily harder than normal. Keepers save everything and defenders win the ball no margin for error. This was on semi-pro yet I get elite 2 on a regular basis.
- Notably, when I was in my final draft match, I matched up against the women’s Netherlands international team which was weird as I thought international teams weren’t possible.
The craziest thing was in their starting line up, they had Joe Cole (English hero) and Iniesta (Spanish icon). I’m not even joking, I can send photos. This game is a joke…
