As a former football player, I’d love to see greater customization options for women’s kits, specifically:
🔹 Shorter shorts options for female players
🔹 The ability to roll up women’s shorts
🔹 The option to wear socks below the knee
In real life, many women players choose:
- shorter shorts
- rolled-up waistbands
- socks worn below the knee
- a more personalized fit overall
I personally rolled up my shorts when I played, and this is extremely common across youth, amateur, and professional levels. Wearing socks below the knee has also become a growing trend in modern football. These choices are about player comfort, identity, and realism, not just aesthetics.
Women’s football is growing rapidly, and FC is doing a great job expanding representation. Adding these customization options would be a small but meaningful improvement that enhances immersion and better reflects how women actually play the game.
