Are you actually lost?????? Nerf dribbling and attacking speed???? Everyone moans about AI defending this AI defending that. The AI was I’d say 10% to strong. Now it’s good… Timmy’s on this game are what ruined it, the ai defence was never the problem… as they said in there video it never got tweaked, what did get tweaked is dribbling speed. Remember when the R1 dribbling got a nerf on the first patch? Yeah that’s the reason AI feels so strong now. Not because the ai is to strong but because you can’t dribble fast anymore. So you have to turn away, back pass etc. if you sprint you lose the ball. So the logic is when they nerfed r1 it depleted the speed at what you can dribble at not just controlled sprint, now because you can’t dribble fast people have untold amounts of time to swarm you with players, leaving no space on the pitch thus leading to the feel that ai is broken. People need to wake up and smell the coffee, if you can’t defend, clip your games look at what mistake you’re making to let that goal in. Fundamentals first. Stop sprinting with the ball, walk jog add a little bit of R1 pace in to burst into spaces, let your team build up with you instead of mindlessly sprinting at the opponent and hoping he makes a mistake and goes the wrong way. Learn to hold the ball without losing it before you go and attack. And if you can’t defend just press R1, use the double tap as well as the second man press, and stop using L1 to change between your players. Use the right stick

It s not the problem of how defending.
I know defending very well but sorry but dribbling speed is unrealistic mate.
It s unbalanced attack/defense. You aren t speed enough in defense to contain a simple hook so imagine 5 stars dribblers !!!
You can dribble 4 players in a row in the box and score without been worried by defenders !!!!
Every guy play the same mate, 4 4 1 1, counterattacks and low block. Even in pro tournement, that s because this game is a big meta in itself.
That s really the game you want mate ???
What is ruined the game is the fact that you want a lot of goals and don t want to be worried by defenders, they re just training puppets.
People moans about defensive ai cause they can t use possession or do smart construction passing that s all. They want easy through balls, R1 all along the pitch and a dribbles chain !!!! Of course when real smart defenses are watching to not let open space, it s more difficult. But it is so rewarding scoring a goal when you have to think.
To do that EA gave all the weapons to attackers with high speed, silly dribbles, only a few stamina loss, press all the match.
And every year defensive players have none new gameplay feature.
Defenders are too heavy on their feet, you can barely breath when try to tracking opponent.
Proof than when EA try to make stronger defenses with buff manual jockeying, some players cry that it s too hard !!!!
I don t want ai works for me, i just wish an rewarding manual defending.
That s not the case.
In real, scoring is much difficult than defending.
