Another major issue I’m facing in EAFC 26 is the way rebounds work when opponents use ultra-defensive “park the bus” tactics combined with counter-attacks. Whenever the opponent’s goalkeeper makes a save or the opponent hits the post, the rebound almost always falls right back to them — and at that point it’s basically a guaranteed goal.
It genuinely feels like 100% of the rebounds go straight back to the attacking player, giving them an unfair and unrealistic advantage.
This mechanic heavily favors players who sit deep the entire match and rely on a single counter-attack plus a lucky rebound. It completely breaks the balance of the game and makes the experience extremely frustrating.
