When it looks good it helps make it feel good. I can honestly say that I have been enjoying the experience of playing Ultimate Team in FC 26 and I don't think I have any major complains really. Of course it would be great if the gameplay was consistently responsive, an issue I'd like to believe EA has been trying to resolve.
But what I noticed while playing, is that when controlling some of my players whose kit I think "looks good" or reflects my own preferred aesthetics of a football player, it helps me to enjoy those players more thus making my overall experience playing the game (a lot) better. For example, players in high colored and high contrast boots, help me to dribble much better as I can mark a clear line between the ball, the player's foot in possession of the ball and the distance from oncoming defenders. When the color of a player's boots is dull, it becomes a bit harder for me to see, thus making the experience more difficult than it needs to be which feels unpleasant.
So my ask is this. Please allow players to customize the kits of the players that make up their club in Ultimate Team. In the same way I can customize kits in Kick-Off or maybe even Pro Clubs, I would love it if I could do the same in Ultimate Team.
A small change that can allow for bigger improvement in the gameplay experience. Or maybe it's just me because I'm weird. Still, it wouldn't hurt to explore insights coming from the weirder people in the world.
