As of right now, the game isnt even football anymore, it just became a simulator of abusing glitches and meta. 90% of people playing the game are abusing glitches and meta things such as AI defending, or spinning around in circles without the manual defending keeping up. Is that football? Spinnig around and not passing? First time shots going in almost every time? Rainbow flick scissor kicks going in outside the box all the time? Far post shots from really tight angles going in every time? Defenders tracking your movements PERFECTLY every time? First time through balls accurate 90% of the time? Wheres the creativity that football represents? Wheres the ACTUAL football? People are paying money for a game where not skill wins the games but the glitches do and you still dont do anything about it? You told us at the start that manual defending would be more rewarding, and as of right now its almost impossible to defend manually. Another thing is why are u taking away the skill gaps existing in the game? Timed finishing, goalkeeper movement for example, they were skill gaps that separated good players from worse players, and you take that away so better players dont have an advantage coming from their skill, meaning that the worse players can jsut shoot a finesse outside the box and you cant stop it in any way. Also the stats on the cards without playstyles are just non sense. Players with 97 pace cant outpace a 85 pace defender, 90 passing is useless without tiki taka, pinged pass or incisive, defending is useless without anticipate or intercept, and the most BS of it all, what do you mean that Claudia Pina outmuscles mine (for example) Vincent Kompany, who is 2x bigger and 2x stronger than her, WITH the Bruiser+ playstyle? and its not only her too. EA, just make the game as it should be, or at least dont claim that it is what you say to the community.
