Revert Keeper movement to what it was… Every Shot goes in now

Another failed patch… this game just keeps getting worse and worse and the scores keep looking like football games… these developers are so incompetent and continue to just show they need to be fired… any decision-maker associated with this game needs to be fired as well. Now that keeper movement is nerved every single fitness shot and low driven shot goes in. This gameplay sucks so bad now.

I can live with you not agreeing with me as long as you acknowledge that EA caters the games towards casuals who are less skilled through GK movement, strong AI defending & even the reduction in AI attacking movement.

All these things have been implemented to give the advantage to casuals who just so happen to spend more money on the game.

That’s why they reward these players by creating a game that allows them to win

Gameplay sucks I’ll let up at most 3 shots a game and the keeper can’t save 1 shot. They didn’t just nerf keeper movement, EA nerfed Keepers to be able to not save anything. This was clearly done to make sure those that are worse than you have an unfair opportunity to stay in the game.

sorry to tell you but keepers have been not able to save anything for some time now. Its bc of the netcode and bad servers that makes the connection and gameplay inconsistent.

keepers before however were still able to rush at the attacker and players were able to move keeper. What should be next is a keeper should be easily beaten by a ball roll like the old days. Further rewarding players who are able to create chances from open play. Not counters and meta 451 park the bus tactics

Also GK movement was a mechanic that was used by worse players to stay in the game. Stop making it seem like its the other way around. It takes no football brain to move your right stick in a certain direction after i have to tiki taka through your 451 stay back while only controlling the cdm tactics

Goalkeeper movement is like entirely irrelevant in offline gameplay. Moving your gk in offline is like the easiest way to get scored on. This take is just so wrong on so many levels

I feel like every shot being a goal is an exaggeration I played at least 10 games today and didn't feel hard done by any of the goals that went in on me, maybe some of them I would've saved before with gk movement, but now I'm also scoring goals that I would've missed because of gk movement. I think it balances out, there may be more goals in each match right now, but I feel like in general the better attacking player will win, which is how it should be imo (also my gk saved a lot of shots today so like idk about every shot being a goal)

Yea, kinda, tbh i would've preferred if they left it untouched but also whenever you select the GK, other defenders stops moving, that would've been cooler imo
Bc let's be honest, the only reason we are missing shots sometimes its cuz of those tight situations in which you are chased by 4 players handled by the CPU and you find that little space to shoot but miss cuz of gk movement closing the only angle you could've shot on

The keeper movement now glitches and doesn’t move at all… just revert back to the Keeper movement because now literally every shot goes in! Welcome back outside the box finesse shots!!! Just goes to show literally how incompetent the devs are.

Every patch is destroying the game more and more.. To reward noobs with AI Def and slow gameplay and Scripts.. It's not about GK only.. And yeah goalkeeper now isn't exist he only stay in one point and not moving (by itself not manual) then the shot is come and GK make the weirdest animation...

I personally wouldn’t do the same bc I respect the sport and exist outside of the neoliberal bubble these companies reside within

One thing I am noticing is both sides of the player base would much rather the day 1 gameplay over the constant patches and changes so I feel as a community who keep arguing about certain mechanics we need to band together to demand a better and more consistent gameplay experience

Typical EA behavior. They behave just like colonizers

They tell us they’ll be more receptive to our feedback only to divide and conquer us and the only ppl who get what they want are the abusers who give EA all their money for packs

Of course, it’s normal that companies want to make money.
They don’t really care about the sport.

They should just keep the gameplay from day one so that everyone knows what to expect.
But by doing that, they would lose a lot of players.

Naturally, the games that generate the most revenue are the most important to them.
Only when the numbers start to drop will EA react — but more likely by making the game easier.

What EA doesn’t understand is that if we’re to make a fun fast paced consistent skill based game they would get ppl like me to spend money on their season pass and the perhaps other cosmetics to customize my club

But instead they are so greedy and want to cash out on the impulsivity or these younger generation of FC players that have been bred to exploit broken game mechanics and get rewards

But that’s the normal as you were saying. Not to just make money but be greedy and want to squeeze every penny they can by creating the environment to do so within a game and the formula they have cooked up is great

From inconsistent gameplay to bad pack
odds to heavy emphasis on AI defending

Everything is structured to make the causal player think they are one good pull from getting better WL record

And these casual players have become great FC players. There is a difference.

I think they have decided when they said they would take a whole another month to decide wether to implement a change to AI defending.

I will be done playing until January and hopefully they revert the game back to day 1. If not then it’s another $60 EA had stolen from me with false promises
