The gameplay was so much better in the first two weeks, not saying it was perfect but you had something that was promising to build on.
Then you destroy the game because some people who dont want to learn to defend in a COMPETETIVE game. You've practically ended up making the game worse than it was last year.
Idk why you even listen to people that complain about a mechanic in a competetive game is hard and takes some time to learn, like no ones going to complain about learning aim or movement in a competetive fps. So why would you listen to those people that want a casual experience where every game is almost a 50/50.
You made the changes way too quickly, you needed to let people get better cards and learn the mechanic.
How can you even call it competetive gameplay, when a person can sit with their DM and not touch their CB's once and still defend almost perfectly 80-90% of the time. It legit does not make sense.
You need to make a change to the defending before January otherwise you are going to lose so many players because its not fun to even pack anyone good because the gameplay is so bad.
For a "quick" fix I would suggest just reverting the game back to its release state, and maybe if you can implement the changes to corners and kickoffs, the glitchy rainbow flick shot, then you have a somewhat fun game to play.
And then asses what could be tweaked and changed up to maybe february, and dont mess up again, because this was the year you had to get right and you did come close in the first two weeks or so.
I honestly think a lot of people will not buy fc27 even if you fix fc26 at this point, because you messed it up so badly, and if you are not changing the AI defending IF you even are going to change it in January I cant see myself buying fc27 either.
And for gods sake communicate a bit more about peoples feedback, it feels like we are all being ignored especially when the game has moved in the direction it has.
