Hi EA Community / Support Team,
I play EA SPORTS FC 26 on a high-end PC. Since the last patch, the -dx11 launch parameter no longer works – the game always starts with DX12.
Problem: Input lag is extremely noticeable under DX12, the game feels sluggish, and I’m constantly at a disadvantage online. Before the last patch with DX11, controls were near-perfect, with almost no input lag.
This issue doesn’t just affect my setup; many high-end PC players report similar problems. It seems that DX11 is no longer supported on modern hardware, even though it worked fine before.
Questions for EA:
Was DX11 intentionally disabled?
Are there plans to reduce input lag under DX12?
Can PC players get the option to use DX11 again, like before the last patch?
We’d greatly appreciate an official statement or solution, as the current input lag makes competitive online play unfair.
