Can you fix whatever you have that favours the CPU in-game? E.g. deflections and blocks landing far more often in the CPU's favour. Misplaced or miscued passes (where the wrong player in e.g. an offside position is picked over the player who is closer and more suited to the lower power input applied), landing in favour of the opposition.
Or lack of marking for your own defence vs that of the CPU team -- where they can sometimes triple or quadruple pressure your ball carrier, while your own team are happy to let runners go free.
This game can be serviceable at times, but often enough its shortcomings are downright idiotic.

Oh and Attacking Wingbacks still don't work properly they only run when you prompt it, and in fact they can often sit furthest behind, drawing the defensive line when that should be managed centrally. This was a feature that worked before release and in FC25, so you should be able to fix it.
FCIQ seems to be flawed in general, as Wingers set as inside forwards are not running inside (unless you run with them, which defeats the purpose of having that role)
Crosses always go too long, even for the CPU.
Players actively avoid the ball
CPU never takes risks and rarely commit fouls even if you turn shooting and tackle aggression all the way up. They also play keep ball too easily and do not succumb to pressure (also in part because your own players always revert to some default positions instead of marking, even if the defensive line is set to HIGH and above) it's too often where you see players just let opposition players run free and sit in no man's land offering no cover, whether it's marking someone or cutting passing lanes.
FOULS FOULS FOULS we need more. Tackling is too easy for the player and the CPU.
Note that these issues exist outside of career mode, but are extremely prevalent when you are playing it, especially the classic opposition-scores-immediately-after-having-conceded, or being able to just hold onto the ball without issue, even if they're supposed to be a lower tier team.
Sliders barely have an effect in-game, so this probably needs tweaking.
On marking, why is there such a discrepancy between marking on your own team vs that of the CPU team? It's almost to the point where your own team's players walk into the opposition players to be marked by them, instead of trying to look for the ball or a space.

Tackling is also so stupidly binary, there's no fight for the ball, they just go right through you, and take the ball away. But you can't do the same because they manage to stay just far enough away from you.
Never mind that dribbling doesn't and never has worked against the CPU. They don't get tricked by dribble/skill moves, they're just cosmetic
