Another major issue in FC 26 is the behavior of the fullbacks, who are barely — if ever — offensive. They never make forward runs, even when there’s huge space in front of them, and this doesn’t change regardless of the role you assign (attacking, balanced, inverted, overlapping, etc.).
It’s extremely frustrating because in modern football, fullbacks are a key part of the attack. They constantly push forward, combine, and create width. In FC 26, they stay static, hesitate to move up, and never exploit situations where they should be making a difference.
This lack of initiative makes the attacking phase rigid and predictable. Their behavior really needs to be improved to bring realism and enjoyment to the gameplay.
