Is it just me or did the matchmaking get completly scrammbled up? I was ok playing in div 4, was half-way to div 3 and i got matched up against the most insane teams and players i’ve ever faced today.
Even in the silver tournament, im either battering someone 6-0 or loosing without having a shot on target the whole game. Idk what happend or whats going on, maybe its matchmaking, maybe gameplay, cant really wrap my head around it atm.

Player base is getting smaller as many players quit so matchmaking becomes worse. Then more people will quit, and it will get even worse.

I think the matchmaking is incredibly punishing this year. I went 10w 1loss in the silver cup at first, and now I'm 12 - 8, my last opponent I added, he played like a pro, and he was elite division player with 10w 0L. I dont get how or why, a 12 - 7 meets a 10 - 0 player, especially since I was on a losing spree. They messed with matchmaking this year, and you get punished for doing well a few games immediatly. I think they might have wanted to spare casual players by making their results better, but players like me that are div2 / 3 just get blasted, and we can never do well in Champs or most competitive modes compared to our level in the playerbase as a whole. Since beginners play Challengers etc. people like us are just feeling a lot worse than we should in terms of matchmaking.
