Who in their right mind can play this game?
EA, you’re a joke. You ruined what used to be the best game — one that brought huge joy in building up a play and finishing it. You gave in to the spoiled players who complained that there were too many goals per match. That issue was way more related to kickoffs (which you brought back) than to manual defending.
All you had to do was make a few adjustments, something you’re clearly incapable of doing. The gameplay was good — you just don’t care.
Right now, it’s terrible. Fix these points:
- Infinite tackle – no punishment at all for missing a challenge;
- Short corners – there’s no point trying to cross the ball in the air since short corners are way more effective;
- Kickoff – yes, gentlemen, you somehow managed to bring this garbage back;
- AUTOMATED DEFENDING – this killed the game. Now it’s more effective to just contain with a CM or CDM and let the defenders handle things automatically than to actually switch and win the ball yourself. Nerf this trash; #revertupdate
- Season progress – if I play UT, I want to earn points only in UT. I don’t have the time or patience to play other modes. I want to progress by playing UT, just like it used to be.
This company doesn’t care about us. Unfortunately, they have no true competition when it comes to football games, and that’s why they act the way they do — treating us like clowns, releasing a game that starts off great in several aspects and slowly turning it into the piece of garbage that EAFC25 became.
Tragic.
