I honestly don’t know what to say anymore. I’m at a point where the core issue with this game feels so obvious, yet it never gets addressed. The inconsistent gameplay is the single biggest problem in EAFC, and nothing else even comes close. I can play one night with smooth transitions, responsive switching, proper left stick control, and everything feels like it’s working. Then I log in the next day, same modes, same settings, and it feels like a completely different game. Delay, sluggish inputs, unresponsive switches, and a general gameplay feel that’s nowhere near what it was the day before. This isn’t subtle. It’s not something you need community clips for. It’s night and day.

I shouldn’t be able to tell whether I’m playing at 100 percent, 80 percent, or 60 percent gameplay quality based on how the mechanics respond. That should never be a thing in a competitive sports title. But with EAFC, I can. I can tell instantly. And I’m not alone. Players feel it across Champs, Rivals, Draft, and across both PC and console. The experience is different not because of tactics, not because of patches, but because the underlying gameplay coding is inconsistent. Adding new patches on top of that unstable foundation only multiplies the problem.

The delay is brutal. Not a minor delay, but a game defining one. It affects transitions, switching, attack timing, defending, everything. When the gameplay is bad, no patch note about “improved transition speed” or “updated attacking AI behavior” matters because I can’t feel any of it through the input lag. When gameplay is good, it’s obvious. When it’s bad, it’s impossible to ignore. And this can change hour by hour, mode by mode, or depending on the time of day. That’s not normal. No other game I play behaves like this.
