Even when the gameplay feels better, then all of a sudden all players can run fast and the meta becomes so easy to abuse.

Run down the line, park the bus & counter through ball

Wether the gameplay is bad, good, decent it always rewards the most brainless and unskilled goals

It’s not fun to actually try to play football and build up with tiki taka passing and what happens next? 9 players in the box and if I make a mistake it’s a through ball to the ST and almost guaranteed goal

It’s comical how not only fast but silly and goofy the gameplay was tn.

EA your game is for casuals with the current meta. I try to play rivals to get rewards but I’m too high division (division 1) now where every single opponent plays the same exact way

I know you probably won’t do anything about it just like your inconsistent gameplay which is purposefully put into the net code. You want all the little timmies who buy all your packs to be happy playing their counter attack ridden game. Where they don’t have to use any thought or combination play to score goals

Can we get a new hasta going? Or are most you here meta abusers as well? Sheesh who I am kidding that’s 95% of the player base. Oh well I’ll still try

On the last direct they did the gameplay producer said people should be allowed to play like this if they want to and they didn't want to effect that.

Yeah it’s pathetic but they’re a company and we live in a greedy capitalistic society. In all aspects of our world those who don’t deserve it are being rewarded. You could make a thesis paper on the connection between FC gameplay to broader society lol

I also think the buff in defensive AI is having a huge impact on rewarding the trash meta of this game. last season I was still able to compete somewhat in higher divisions. But at least my rivals games last night were unplayable.

I’m playing full gold teams and one through ball counter attack and I get scored on.

It was one of those days where the gameplay feels somewhat good and fast but it benefits the mega abusers way more than players who are trying to
Build up and pass the football around.

Everytime I passed the ball back on a counter bc that is my playstyle it just allowed the opposing team to drop back and it became impossible to do anything

On top of the horrendous meta that exists every single year, EA always decides to mess something else up that was completely fine so the main problems in the game (the meta & inconsistent gameplay) get pushed to the background.

Ppl just wanted corners & kickoffs but to be fixed but instead you make manual jockey defending way better to once again cater to your favorite audience who just sit back with their whole team in the box.

Now it's Al defending that was buffed. that was only suppose to be for squad battles? How does that make any sense. You implement a change for one game mode but don't expect it to effect the other online game modes?

Bunch of baloney, it's hog wash. It was intentionally done. Once again to cater towards the ppl who really make EA happy
