I’m a WL 11 wins player. My friend told me he has been playing SQB for many years, but this year he suddenly couldn’t continue and deleted the game. I really don’t understand. So I just played two matches—one on Legendary difficulty and one on World Class. OMG… with defensive AI like this, I could only win with great difficulty.
The person who decided to increase the defensive AI clearly doesn’t take regular players seriously and should be fired immediately. You’re literally driving away all casual players and new players!!!

I’ve found it no different tbh, just be patient when they’re on the ball if you press them you won’t get it but they often mess up with passes if you just close down passing lanes

They definitely buffed it. Two weeks ago I played SQB once and got around 40,000 points, and I was basically playing while watching a TV show. Just now I played two rounds, haha — I even turned off the sound of the TV. Maybe you play really well, but please believe me, this is not my imagination.

Yeah they definitely did but I get the same wins as you so I don’t think I’m much better than you, I think you just have to play squad battles differently to how you’d play rivals

And recently, more than one of my friends has said the same thing to me. Since I don’t play SQB very much, I thought they were just getting tired of FIFA, but that’s not the case. I know that no matter how much I say, it won’t change anything. But I’m glad that those few pay-to-win friends have all quit, so they don’t have to endure a game like this anymore. I'm just surprised that EA is driving their players away like this.

the ai can be annoying for sure, just try to play a bit more patiently and wait for them to make a mistake. don’t bother doing skills because the ai knows your every move you have to beat them with passing

they could choose below World Class. But they’ve been consistently winning on World Class for years, and they’ve put a lot of FC Points into the game. It’s hard to accept that in FC26, after investing so many FC Points, they’re supposed to go play on Professional difficulty, isn’t it?

At the end of the day, I'm still angry. EA is quickly driving away the FC players around me, and after all these years, there weren’t many left to begin with. Now… I don’t think I want to fight alone anymore either
