#Manual gameplay

As a person who enjoys manual gameplay this is a terrible idea.
There's 11 players there's no reason why only one person can intercept the ball at a time.
Making it so you can't win the ball without pressing a tackle button is not only unrealistic but would be a terrible nerf to defending considering the current state of tackling animations right now.
You can’t tackle someone in real life without tackling them if you just ran near them the ball wouldn’t gravitate towards the defender would it and I’m not saying only the person controlling can intercept I’m saying make it less successful then it promotes good decision making and reading gameplay rather than being able to run back with your can and rely on the AI to do the tackling, marking and interceptions for you
“If you ran near the ball it wouldn’t gravitate towards you” when you’re defending you don’t always have to put a foot in to win the ball. When you’re one on one with a forward and they take a touch too big and you read it then you can just run onto it without making a tackle, similar to the game.
The thing is, some people enjoy one on one battles. Instead of nerfing the AI’s defensive intelligence and awareness even further when it’s already in the mud we should nerf the AI’s one on one defending significantly so someone can’t just sit on their CAM or CDM
