With those players who tend to back of with their cm/cdm and give you space as you approach their box as this is how AI Defending/Defending is in general, just have us players just wack a longshot or powershot. longshots/powershots haven't been a thing since fc24. This can at least gives us a different approach to at least test the keeper rather than having to break down this AI defence nonsense.

omg i completely agree theyre so so so pointless, i just stay away from cards that have powershot+ because its a waste

powershots/longshots are just a block magnet and fc24 long shots and powershots were just great

I kinda like that longshots are less effective

But power shots need to be buffed

Nowadays I just use them for shot fakes for the most part

And it works pretty effectively
