Last year I played for about two months before I uninstalled the game because of how bad the gameplay was. This year I decided to give it another chance because EA kept saying they would listen to the community fix things improve servers and actually make meaningful changes.
Before release I saw clips from streamers and honestly the game looked amazing. It was fast smooth the passing worked perfectly and the overall gameplay felt great. And at the start it really was fun. I actually believed this could be the year where EA finally got it right.
But then after the first patch or more precisely after the first Weekend League everything went downhill again. The game became completely unplayable. Every single patch made it worse and worse. No matter how many “fixes” or “updates” they released nothing improved. Now the gameplay is a complete joke. Everyone just lets the AI defend for them waits until they win the ball back plays one counterattack and scores. That’s literally it. That’s not good gameplay that’s just garbage.
I really wanted to play the whole year grind improve and actually enjoy the game but at this point I’ve completely lost hope. All they care about are the casual players who spend money on packs. That’s all that matters to them. They promise fixes they promise patches but nothing changes and often it just gets worse.
I’ve officially given up on this game again after about two months. It’s over for me this year and i think i wont buy any other EA FC because they will Never change anything…
And let’s be honest momentum scripting DDA whatever you want to call it it’s been in the game for years. EA keeps denying it but every single player who has played FIFA over the years knows it exists. They can lie to us all they want but everyone knows what’s going on.
And this year? It’s the worst it has ever been. Never before was it this bad. Not in any FIFA. At launch it wasn’t like this but ever since the first WL it just turned into a complete mess.
