Probably the worst change EA could make in a game mode that encourages positional team play. No idea why it was implemented and why they seemlingly refuse to revert it.
FUT players complain for 1 day and get their patch changes reverted. Wouldn't be surprised if they ignore this issue until next year for clubs and will probably reintroduce stamina as a brand new realism FEATURE.
