EA Sports FC was supposed to be a football simulation based on skill, tactics, and precision but what we got instead feels like a game controlled by hidden systems and artificial interference. Matches no longer depend on player ability; they depend on who gets favored by the game’s scripting and momentum.
You can dominate possession, create chances, and still lose because the AI decides to help your opponent giving them stronger defense, perfect positioning, and unstoppable shots, while your players suddenly become sluggish and inaccurate. It’s frustrating to see hard work and skill replaced by randomness and artificial “balance.”
What’s worse is that this system kills competitiveness. Skilled players no longer feel rewarded, and beginners are artificially boosted to make matches look “exciting.” This isn’t fair play it’s manipulation disguised as game design.
Until EA stops relying on scripts and hidden momentum, true football fans will continue to look elsewhere for a fair and authentic experience. Maybe UFL or another competitor will finally bring back what FC has lost real competition and genuine football.
