yeah ai defending needs nerfing to genuinely about 50% of its current power. there’s a cop out playstyle of 451 everyone behind the ball to beat anyone better than you. just lost to a guy who had 25% possession in div 1 which is basically the elite div rn cos of reset. i simply couldn’t get a single yard of space in his box, especially since the gameplay is so sluggish n my 5”1 90+ agility scream debinha cant turn. fix it please!

when you get to the top of the box you face a blockade of defenders and midfielders which you inevitably lose the ball to before being countered.
very infuriating that better players who have more of the ball are at an extreme disadvantage. and to your point, the sluggishness of the game doesn’t allow you to bypass this blockade. players with high agility can’t turn faster than someone with jockey + stepping across to tackle. the only way to score seems to be dropping off so you have space to play into and then abusing incisive + playing a pass to your wingers on the inside of fullbacks and the outside of centerbacks.
the only true way to beat this horrific ai defending is by having a marvel superhero team with every playstyle being: tiki taka finesse low driven incisive technical rapid quick step
