I’ve been playing FIFA/EAFC for 9 years, and somehow the servers are still stuck in the Stone Age. As a Network Engineer by profession, I can confidently say it’s not my network, not my ISP — it’s EA. The game magically runs smooth on Sunday, but come Friday and Saturday it feels like I’m playing underwater. I reach Division 1/Elite in Rivals without breaking a sweat, yet can’t even get 8 wins in Weekend League because of delay, input lag, and desync. Everything now revolves around packs and money — the players are an afterthought. After nearly a decade, the gameplay still feels unstable, the servers are prehistoric, and EA’s priorities are crystal clear: profits first, players last.
