how can I effectively defend against the "controlled sprint dribble - R1 dribble"?⚒️⚔️

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Videos with instructions would also be great. ✅

After the live tuning update #2, controlled sprint dribbling is very difficult to defend. 😫🤪

I just played Chelsea against Barcelona in Seasons (online).

Final score: 8-3

Against other offensively strong clubs, I get similar results like 4-5, 5-7, 6-6, etc.

How is it possible to defend against the "R1 dribbling" against clubs like Barcelona, ​​Real Madrid, PSG, Bayern Munich, and others with strong attacking players?

If you wanna find a solution whenever you take the ball spam the r1 button and make 100 spins inside the opponent box because he wont be a able to take the ball back keep spinning till you find some space then just score goals

What is less defensible is turning around, but that's based on the player skill, if they can make U go in the wrong direction then they deserved to get past u

I think they should fix the r1 dribbling it so broken since they bought this back i cant even win a game and am back in to div 7 wen I waz half way in div 6 I can't even sprint were can I post my 10 min video to show @frozen herald

As well try fix tackle wen the press tackle it keep going with the wrong leg every time

Auto defense is OP
Second man pressing is a thing and totally assisted, jockey is OP, tackles are OK (they could be better) so what's your excuse

We both have flawed points here because there's no way to know if the majority really has issues with it
I've seen people going around throwing "skill issue" at those who were against it
And they said they were elite or top 200 even
Idk what to tell u
From what I've seen in this server, most great players seems not to complain ab it
But again, this server is a super small percentage
What is known for certain is that the majority of fc players are casuals
Not saying they are bad, they simply don't wanna put the effort or don't have time to learn

But there's so many complaints ab so many different things.

I noticed casuals seems to despise this fast paced gameplay
They want the game to be more simulative
But that's already something that doesn't need addressing because the competitive preset isn't made to be simulative or slow

I can see their view, and again, I respect it
That's why Im trying to put feedback so they hopefully do something ab it

The issue here is that casuals are the majority, they can't just ignore them, viceversa if u listen to pros only, you lose the majority
It's a lose-lose situation, really

I would bring both modes online, the authentic and competitive presets and let people choose

Anyway I'm digressing (kinda) as said, I don't mind R1 being removed, hell I don't even care ab playstyles
I've been playing for like 14 years, playstyles are just a limitation, roles too

But I personally think R1 itself isn't that much of a problem, it's defensible, jockey is very good rn, jockey and jockey + catch up really fast and defensive AI is the problem in the general consensus
R1 rn is tool to get trough defensive low blocks, cpu and people who select only their cdm and double man contain

The issue with this update and the other is that the Defensive CPU is too much.

Surely, nerf R1 but nerf that too, it should have downsides, else it's useless.

Oh women, they just need a little nerf on their agility and strength, everybody hates them
Nothing ab them on a personal level, just, they don't share the downsides certain players with certain traits have

For example if I use Lukaku, I have strength but I'm clunky

Meanwhile, they can be both agile and strong

I used to do that myself when I was in elite divs the other fifas by switching rapidly with the right stick and tackling with aggression
Now right stick switch is inconsistent asf and anyway you only have to sit deep
