Honestly, this is getting ridiculous. Career Mode has become boring beyond belief. The AI doesn’t try anything, never commits fouls, shows no intensity… The matches are painfully easy and monotonous. It feels like playing against lifeless robots that are programmed not to challenge the player.

And the worst part? It’s been like this for months. No updates, no improvements, nothing. Meanwhile, the online modes keep getting patches and adjustments all the time. It’s a real lack of respect towards the Career Mode community, who have been loyal to this game for years.

It’s time to act – fix the AI, bring back realism, make the game feel alive again. This silence and neglect toward Career Mode players is no longer acceptable.

Please, start listening to the offline community for once.

There's the off-the-ball aspect; they're not aggressive at all. But without the ball, it's also very boring! The AI doesn't try anything!

Yea it's kinda dead
I wish the game got rougher if it got more fouls, like the players gets progressively nervous and ends up in rumbles where the ref has to intervene and stop them
Especially on important games

There's something that's really getting on my nerves: the FUT community is reacting! They're not taking it lying down... We saw it recently, EA completely removed their latest update and rolled back the previous version. But the Career Mode player community seems to be asleep! It's frustrating; I feel like there are barely eight of us on this Discord server...

I played a bit with the cpu sliders and found a good gameplay

Tackling up to 70-80

Build up 60-70

Shots 60-70

First touch pass 30-40

Cross 60

Dribbling ? I still dont rly get it

Skill moves 30 but dosent rly matter

Was by far my most fun game in this years game never had to wait for ai to wake up and attacking feels a lot more physical because the ai goes for standing tackles over containing

Got 2 free kicks and 1 penalty in a 5min half game on world class against a better team

They made like 2-3 slide tackles and at least 5 standing tackles (they also miss about as much as a real player would)

EA is only doing half the job... The AI is less predictable and tries a lot more things tbh, but as for fouls, nothing's happening on my end, ZERO fouls in 3 matches...

Ive found I get fouls if I do skill moves while trying to get passed the AI because usually it leads to a mistimed step. I don't get slide tackle fouls much at all. I think Ive had one slide tackle foul called

I set the AI marking to 95.
Assisted tackles 10 (aggressive style)
Slider - aggressive tackles 98

In kick-off mode, I play normally, but in career manager mode, it's really too easy.

All of the issues you correctly pointed out are indeed present. In addition to those, another problem has emerged: the CPU rarely attempts long-range shots. In many matches, it doesn’t take even a single shot from distance. Instead, it only plays constant tiki-taka passes—circling the ball endlessly until it eventually loses possession or desperately tries to force its way into the penalty box just to take a shot from inside.

This lack of attention to offline gameplay is truly frustrating. The CPU’s artificial intelligence has been neglected by the development team for a long time, and it hasn’t seen any significant improvement.
