Dear EA Sports Team,
I'm writing this feedback to express my deep frustration with the recent FC 26 update (v1.1.0) that completely changed the game's defensive mechanics.
The Core Problem:
Just when we were finally starting to master and adapt to the new game mechanics, especially the defensive system that required skill and practice, an update changed everything completely. This is extremely frustrating.
FC 26's original defensive system was fun and rewarding for players who dedicated themselves to learning its nuances. We were in the middle of adapting, developing new skills and strategies, when suddenly everything was altered.
Consequences of the Update:
The new update transformed the game into something that doesn't require defensive knowledge. Players who previously didn't master the defensive system now defend much better. Why? Simply because the defensive AI is doing the work for them.
This eliminates the learning curve and completely devalues the effort of players who invested time to learn how to defend properly.
No Time to Adapt:
EA Sports didn't give players the opportunity to truly adapt and learn the game's system, which was really good. If the game can't keep its mechanics stable for even one month, what can we expect throughout the entire year?
Personal Impact:
This update completely killed my desire to play. Since FC 26's launch, this is the first week where:
- I didn't play any competitive modes
- I had no desire to claim any weekly rewards
- I seriously considered quitting the game
My Suggestion
The game was developed in a style that should reward skill, but now it seems you don't need to know how to defend – the AI does everything for you. This goes against the essence of a competitive game.
I ask that the team reconsiders these changes and provides greater stability to the game's core mechanics, allowing players to actually have time to adapt and develop their skills.
