Let’s be honest, the game doesn’t feel like it did at launch. The smooth, skill-based gameplay we loved is gone, replaced by randomness and AI control.
-
AI Defending
The AI defends for you. Positioning, tackles, and runs are automatic. There’s no real skill left. Manual defending needs to matter again. -
Movement & Sprint
Players feel heavy and unresponsive. Left stick dribbling lost precision, and controlled sprint feels delayed. Bring back the smooth and responsive movement we had at launch. -
Interceptions & RNG
Perfect passes get blocked by random defenders, and rebounds always favor the opponent. Let timing and positioning decide outcomes, not luck. -
Fouls & Collisions
Clean tackles are punished while obvious fouls are ignored. The contact system feels inconsistent and unfair. -
Pace & 1v1s
Slow defenders catch up to fast attackers easily. Pace no longer matters, which breaks balance and realism. -
Scripted Moments
Momentum swings, random goals, and strange rebounds make matches feel predetermined instead of skill-based. -
Final Thought
Players don’t mind losing if the opponent is better—that’s football. But results should depend on skill, timing, and decision-making, not AI or luck. Bring back the launch gameplay: fast, fair, and fun. Let skill decide the game—not the AI, not the scripts.
