I want to express my dissatisfaction with several gameplay aspects, especially in defense and attack.
In defense, players seem to completely freeze when opponents make runs. Center-backs and defensive midfielders react too slowly or don’t react at all. They often miss tackles they should clearly win, even with proper timing. This makes defending frustrating and unrealistic.
In attack, in FC 25 it was possible to perform short or accurate crosses from the wingers to the striker to get past defenders. However, in FC 26 all crosses seem to be too lofted or inaccurate, making it very easy for center-backs to clear them without effort.
I hope EA takes a closer look at these issues, as they heavily impact the flow and balance of the game.
