EA we've reached a dead-end sadly.

It's hard to tune out the competitive mode properly because some FUT players also want realism

So please consider putting the authentic mode online too as it would make everybody happy

Currently, competitive updates are being catered to realism, losing its essence
that causes damage to both parts of the community, Im sure putting the authentic mode online would make fix alot of these issues and make you guys focus on both gamemodes without touching the other.

The backlash has been alot, please consider testing it.

Friendly, clubs and seasons with authentic settings would be great. People want something more than arcadish fast pingpong in FUT.

If you keep catering to casuals youll just ruin the competitive preset

Otherwise, if you'll listen to core players, you'll lose the majority of your players and that won't be positive either

The only solution is to TEST that goddamn authentic mode online and let players choose

Base it around feedback, and implement it, it's the only way to save the game

You could keep the same modes but let people choose if they want to play against someone in authentic or competitive mode

They would lose less players and maybe have more casuals to become core and spend more on the product

Also each update is limited to a preset, so like, competitive mode wouldn't be affected and ruined by casual thoughts

Bravo brothers thats the correct feedback and thread, the game should have both atleast and let the player base choose whatever they want, thats the most fair thing mates clearly to everyone, thats the most logic thing

Keep the thread up brothers, so maybe we can enjoy a bit of football here and not a pacy horse race with a ball and pretend we play a football game, everyday every year we see the same things, lets stop this, the community has the power, the community buys the game, the community can stop buying the game too and the community should decide what is right for the game so if you trully listen to the community ea then the fair thing is to put both modes online, period, thats it

That's the point, it would be separated.
Think of it as a preset for people who want a more simulative experience but without preventing them accessing FUT

We would share the market with them as well as every other thing except matchmaking

We could still match them on friendlies but not competitive modes

Yes, I know that would make every game "sweatier" for the competitive comp but it's the only solution imo.

Casuals and players who prefer simulation are the majority, they've always been and they'll keep being loud ab the competitive preset not being simulative enough despite it not being studied to be like that
Result, it ruins our experience and also their because they'll keep matching sweats anyway

They've been testing it btw
and they should act based on feedback to see if it works or not

I would gladly take a sweatier but better more manual defensively and responsive gameplay over not having fun at all cuz casuals and sim players advocates for realism in the competitive preset

Dear EA team, dear community!

The game feels too fast for me after the live tuning update #2.

"Controlled sprint dribbling - R1 dribbling" is very difficult to defend.

Controlled sprint dribbling should be completely reworked/refined!

It should only be available to players like Yamal, Musiala, Messi, Vinicius Jr., Ousmane Dembélé, Wirtz, and other dribbling wizards.

The way dribbling is currently dominated in FC 26 has nothing to do with real dribbling.

The current dribbling is too powerful and a weapon that kills the rest of the game!

It's all about who can press the buttons on the controller the fastest and score the most "controlled dribbling - R1 goals"!

This is extremely difficult to defend against and often leads to unrealistic results.

EA Team, please refine the controlled sprint dribbling even further!

❗My proposed solutions are as follow:❗

It would be important to decouple Ultimate Team from FC. Ultimate Team should be independent of FC❗ ❗❗

In FC, players should be able to choose between authentic and competitive gameplay in all modes, including online modes. ✅

This would offer more options and realism for online matches, especially in Seasons modes.

I would greatly appreciate this, as I prefer authentic gameplay.

This isn’t a good idea, you just have to choose one and make up your mind. The community is literally toying with EA right now. Just pick either fast and direct football or slow and realistic football, that’s it.

Most casual players don't like fast and arcadey football and they are the majority
They don't have where to go online as the competitive preset is obligatory for online modes
Personally, I prefer arcadey gameplay in FUT but it makes sense to listen to them too

But by listening to them like they are doing, they are also losing core players, those who bring them more money
However if you cater to the core players only, then the entire fut ecosystem will collapse as casuals are the majority

The only solution seems to divide the community in two presets
That way you make everyone happy by tailoring changes to that specific preset instead of ruining thins thing for one or the other

Mate, I know that. What I’m saying is people shouldn’t be complaining that the defending or dribbling needs to change, and then, when EA actually listens and changes it, they start shouting “revert the update.” You feel what I’m saying? Make up your mind. You can’t have both gameplays in online mode, that would ruin the game and the matchmaking. Just choose one ffs

FUT should always be Competitive Gameplay. Every other online mode should have an option to choose between Competitive and Authentic
